what went down
| 17 May 2011
To anyone curious about the now blank pages and somewhat empty tone of the site --- we're sad to say we'll be discontinuing the label after such a brief time together. All Pandit vinyls were pressed and we're now waiting on the jackets. If you haven't received an e-mail from Lance concerning the slight delay in shipping, you can get in contact with him about it

The Youth Lagoon release was mutually nixed due to Trevor getting serious attention and offers from much larger labels that will be able to distribute his album to a much wider audience. You can expect some bigger news coming from him and his camp in the coming days.
With everything going on in our respective lives combined with the recent news of Youth Lagoon moving onto greener pastures, we decided it was time to focus our energy and time elsewhere for the forseeable future.
The last thing we wanted to do when we started up was to be another label that fell to the wayside. Even more, we wanted to be in the business of helping to continue to promote the deserving independent musicians. We didn't want to be another Arcade Sound --- and therefore we're happy we'll be able to still send out all pre-orders we took on the Pandit vinyl.
Nobody is more bummed out about it than us but hopefully when things calm down at a later date we can resurrect this project.
Thanks to everyone for your support.
Sincerely,
Matt
JBR.
